The Saturday of A-Kon, I considered riding the DART train from Irving, Tx (which is closer to where I live) to the Sheraton Hotel in Dallas…the train drops off right next to the hotel, but the main reason I didn't was that I was in my Star Trek costume.

The reason Lauren's costume is purple rather than gray is because it's based on the Batgirl form The Batman, which is why her hair is styled like that and why her utility belt is shaped like that.
