Like Paul and Caligos, I'm a straight guy in my mid-20s who likes My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
Well, there are a ton of guys who do. Actually this version of MLP seems to have more adult male fans than its intended demographic. It's a funny, well written show and appreciated as such.
Personally, I started watching it because I grew up with a sister who liked the original and I watched it with her, so combine the nostalgia of that with it being popular with guys my age and curiosity, so I watched it.
But the thing is, the show is actually like Powerpuff Girls in that it looks girly on the exterior, but it's really pretty generic in who it appeals to. It's just an average cartoon that happens to look girly. That's because it was created by Lauren Faust…as was some of those other shows on Cartoon Network like Powerpuff Girls and the like. Faust makes cartoons that appeal to girls, but that they're parents can enjoy (even fathers) and people like me who have no kids can watch it and enjoy it because it does appeal to the parents, too.

Oh, and I decided to draw my favorite pony for the TV screen: Rainbow Dash.
