658. Reverse Engineering 07: Jinkies

I started writing short stories for Jix. They'll come out in parts and I'm thinking about releasing one a week to give you guys time to read them. While they are canon, they're not intregal to the rest of the comic, so you needn't worry about reading them to be able to enjoy the comic, but I thought I'd give a little extra something.
The current short story is "Irene," which is about Lauren and Jix leaving New York due to Hurricane Irene. Yeah, I know that it's already over and according to the news, not many New Yorkers left, but I didn't know that when writing the short story.
