In Star Trek and Stargate SG-1, all the aliens speak English, so why not the Ambis?
Come to think of it, they don't speak Ambis Common much on Earth. That's mostly because I often forget to put the < and > around the dialogue and often have to remind myself when they are speaking Ambis Common.
Also…Atra is easier to write when she speaks English since her Ambis Common is broken.
