This is something I decided back when we first saw human Lamerix wearing sunglasses And now it's canon! 
Since Remula and Jix don't have photosensitive eyes, it's probably psychosomatic for Lamerix.

I have stuff that's canon in my head that never makes it into the comic. Half the time, I can't remember what's in my head and what actually made it into the comic and/or commentary, so if I say something like this twice, it's because I didn't find the previous time I said something and I want to point out that change I had decided on. This being one of them. I had the idea behind the goggles having another purpose, but I can't find where I said it and so I'm posting it now. Or I could've just mentioned it to my friend. I get stuff I say to him mixed up with head canon and commentary/comic canon as well. I don't know. I need a notebook or something.
