Apologies for the very late comic. I spent a good deal of time yesterday playing Arkham Knight and by the time I forced myself OFF of it, I was too tired to draw. I spent a couple of hours watching South Park, trying to get myself to pay attention and draw and I just didn't have the energy. So I slept, got up, and went to finish it.
Okay, so…we haven't seen Lauren much since Jix was put into the asylum, so I think either the next arc or the one after that should be JUST Lauren and Jix…maybe Atra because she's the bodyguard.
As for bringing up Smarterchild, I'm intending to tie and her reaction with finding out Siri isn't real into something else.
And Lauren isn't reading for fun. I've established that a couple of times that she doesn't read for fun. She's probably studying some medical text book or something.
Fun fact: This script is at least a year old. I wrote it during the early days of the Asylum arc and then realized I couldn't use it until Jix was back on Earth.
