Remula kind of knows at this point that her relationship with her roommate was kind of a puppy love (or kit love?) or experimental. Not to say she's not bisexual, but nothing is that serious at that age and she is aware of it. So having to break up with the roommate to appease dad wouldn't have been a big deal for her.
