1252. The Third Attempt 19: Summoning

I haven't really read Heart of Darkness, but I know what it's vaguely about (having done a project on it in college and having played Spec Ops: The Line) and despite this, I'm getting kind of a Heart of Darkness vibe from this part of the story. Whether or not it's actually there, it wasn't intended when I wrote it.
