Is there an award for silliest plot device? Immediately after I came up with this I realized I could only think of a few actual Christmas books so I started making up fake ones, and padding those out with made-up marketing tie-in versions of A Christmas Carol, which made me laugh. I realized yesterday that there are three totally separate Grinch references in this comic, the third one's coming up a little later.

I'm realizing now this issue is a lot longer than I thought it was. We're maybe halfway done.
