At the risk of sounding like a Nature Nerd…Dog bats roost in caves or tombs and seem to rely on echolocation for flight navigation in these places. They are the only fruit bats to use the phenomenon, so important to the insectivorous bats. They feed on fruit juices and flower nectar and play a useful role as pollinators.
