My Chinese dorm room

I am actually super surprised about how much this picture looks like my actual dorm room… *shudder*. I will do another strip on Sunday about my roomies, so I won't say any more than this. It is true though, there was some sort of dinner party going on in my room when I entered. Talk about awkward!!! Apparently the regular students at this uni weren't warned that a bunch of us short term students would just appear one day. I feel kind of bad!

But China isn't all bad things! I went to Tianmen Square today, it was SUPER COOL! I always love going to tourist sites that I only see on TV and in textbooks. So much cooler in real life. I also saw Mao Zedong's dead body! (yeah the one on display). It's kind of creepy, because it looks like he's about to wake up at any moment when he's actually been dead since 1979! Well that's about it for today. I had my placement test this morning and going to class tomorrow, so we'll see how that goes. Thanks for your comments everyone, Zai Jian!
