Another reason to have this little scene: it certainly looks like Otto knows his way around robots!
As
for the eye thing here, that's inspired by my experiences becoming a
doctor of Chiropractic. Your body can give you really strange signs that
bad things are happening inside of you. If one of your eyes is doing
something slightly weird (one pupil a tiny bit dilated more than the
other, one eye more glassy than the other) a world of crazy things can
be going wrong in your bod. Some super serious, some minor. Best to get
diagnosed!
I imagine working with machines is similar.
