First mention of Otto's name in that first panel.
So… Otto's doing extra work for free? That's kinda odd. Maybe he's just married to his work or something.

just explode when you drop something tasty on a dirty floor and you
have to throw it away?
He works in a pretty average building. When you think about it, most scientists work in real average looking places.
