Way back in chapter two (http://www.theduckwebcomics.com/Jupiter/5464314/ ) , Otto seemed pretty adamant about giving credit where credit was due. Still had to claim he made the plexus, though.
But! Now that Blue's become an expert eavesdropper, no need to keep it from her.
This is also another reason Otto gives a lot of his money away. Paying Jupiter's contribution forward!
