Toshubi's Con Badge

Toshubi was telling me about his trip to the Rainfurrest Con and a problem he had with an artist.

He was her first customer on Friday & he commissioned a con badge. She told him she'd have it ready Saturday morning. Okayyyy…

Saturday morning she didn't have it, but she'd have done by Sunday morning. Riiiiiiiight…

Sunday evening as he's about to leave the con, the gal finally started working on it.

As a joke I drew this for Toshubi to use at a con. ;-)

About two weeks after the con he said he had gotten an email from the gal saying she had finally finished his badge.

Yeesh! No, he didn't tell me her name.

I'm so used to drawing for the computer that I didn't even think of erasing the pencil lines after I inked it. (My scanner doesn't see pencil lines when I scan as lineart.) Unfortunately I didn't think about that until after I had used colored pencils to color it. D'oh!

Ah, well, good thing I didn't charge him for it. ;-)
