Originally, before putting in the line a couple pages ago about why Tempore waited so long to release all that energy, I had him say it after saying "No" here.  But it felt tacked on, especially because it was when it simply used too much energy.  Since the explanation never sat with me, I had to tweak things.
 
It was interesting doing the dissolving effect on the Zx*@!!s.  I hope it looks better than earlier in the issue–I finally realized the "Smudge" tool was quite useful.  It was just annoying going near the panel borders with it.  I should've used it for the Time and Laser teleport, too.
