Page 8: issues 5 (On the Run) and Special 1 (Sysyphus Part 1)

Top page: Astral may be a guy, but he's used to being affectionate.  Many FTMs (female to male transsexuals) I know are like this.  I think it comes from being raised with feminine expectations, and this is probably also why MTFs (male to female transsexuals) tend to be a little stiffer: women are pressured to be more touchy-feely than men.  In fact, men are reprimanded for this sort of behavior.  But I want to stress with Sparkle and Astral that they are not designed to ever date each other.  They connect more like siblings.
It's probably apparent that I keep trying to do little new things with my art.  This is all in an effort to make things look better.  Therefore: nostrils on Sparkle.  My inconsistent coloring and character design, meanwhile, is just me screwing up from time to time (like with me screwing up Eiderdown so many times in issue 3 or getting the coloring of Fractal wrong on the character's first speaking page).
 
Bottom page: The lack of color on the Queue has two reasons.  One, I was rushing the page to get done and not coloring cut down on time, and two, I actually don't know what to color them.  I'd assume they're Caucasian with brown or white hair and white togas, but I didn't want to be wrong.  Therefore, the group is just inhabiting a black-and-white universe at the moment, which makes it helpful that Tempore has no color on himself, either.
The Queue is cameoing from the KAMics.
 
Monday: An unexpected encounter for Astral and Sparkle and Tempore begins his challenges
