Top page: He speaks in his native language.  I would have called it "Mer", or something, but I figured mer-people would have various languages, just like humans, and so it's Flimerran (which keeps a "Mer" in the name, of course).  He would have been speaking in English, but I figured he'd slip back to his native tongue when talking to himself.  Plus, it shows that his English speech patterns are not stupidity or anything–he just doesn't know the language nearly as well as his own.
 
Bottom page: Tempore views the events of the 2010 Halloween Cameo Caper, which took place on board the NCS Nostromummy (which I always think of as "Nostril Mummy", which makes the little kid in me giggle).  His visions are of Mantigo and Habibah of Public Humiliation, Gertrude and Brunhilda of the KAMics (who are surprisingly hard to draw–I am not good at fanservice), William from Dawn of a New Era, Malice from D.D.S.R., three characters from Drunken Scribblings who I am too lazy to look up at the moment and hope I correctly identified in the copyright indicia, and a character from Grin-N-Spirit whose name I also hope I got right in the indicia and reminds me that I should acrually take the time to read that comic one day.
There was a pie fight on the Nostromummy, and Tempore has already felt it twice.  Needless to say, he's not sticking around to keep being the brunk of my attempts at physical comedy.
