Top page: Yep, the Runner is another transgender character.  I can't seem to stay away from making them.  But on to the contents of the page.  The female Flimerrans have a strict dress code, wearing what amounts to a bikini.  Though I haven't shown it, the men are more lax, able to go shirtless, but generally wearing form-fitting shorts.  Also, in their life-cycle, I generally think of them as a mix of human and frog, having live births, but the babies start out more like tadpoles before sprouting arms and legs and their tail diminishing.  They are generally unable to surface, since they have evolved for high-pressure areas, but the Runner is a bit special.  So, he does have a super-power in relation to his people, but it's not exactly one that would usually aid a superhero.
 
Bottom page: I draw Hogan differently every time, I think.  This time, I was taking cue from how Aggie drew him in the American Gothic part of the 2011 Halloween Cameo Caper.  Hence, the altered hair, with lines to indicate it actually is hair and to indicate how it's been combed.  I also like the line in the last panel, though in my effort to get in some Angrish, I may have made it sound a bit Jewish, which is funny, since that is not my culture, and I doubt it's part of Hogan's.
