I'm putting together a crossover project for next year which will run through many comics and hopefully benefit the Hero Initiative.  If you're interested in participating, e-mail me at karamesser@hotmail.com or PQ me on this site.

Top page: Flashback's done.  I realize that it contains information that could go over multiple issues of comics sometimes, but I really like to have compressed storytelling sometimes, and I've done so with all the issues to some extent, really.  Also, I have another character get lucky.  Maybe I'm living vicariously, but I like to think every instance is also my expression of the fact that these are not chaste heroes.  They are all adults and make adult decisions.  Besides, the Runner and his boyfriend are in a committed, loving relationship and would only naturally have it be physical, too (plus, I wanted to give a logical reason why his clothes would change so noticably to what he has on in the present).  But I'm sure people would wonder how this can happen, if a merman is supposed to be half-fish.  However, even though I made his tail green rather than blue, I still think of the merman as physiologically like a dolphin on the lower half of his body.  After all, he's obviously a mammal.  And the Runner?  His species may look more fish-like, but they are mammalian where it counts (including live births).

Bottom page: Goodness, I did not know I was going to set this page up like this.  I realize it kind of goes nowhere and you get no new information, but I saw that I only had ten more photos that would fit and decided to conserve things for the final page.  But it means that the copyright section, which I put at the beginning because I'd actually mapped out the issue beforehand (for the most part–generalizations for each page) and thought I knew all the cameos I was doing, is incorrect.  This page will definitely give Hogan a coronary, too, but oh well.  Go to the web addresses given on this page.  You won't regret it.  All those comics involved are great.  I'm going to be eagerly awaiting my birthday tomorrow, in the meantime.
