Kinda anticlimactic, but I couldn't have a monster for the next bit (partly for my own sanity–that guy was difficult to draw consistently) and it does set it up a little. We may move through homages, but the story is playing out with somewhat logical procession. So next page will be the next one. I'm sure many can guess what the homage will be, too.
