Pages 5-7: issue 16 - Lucy Leave

What's this?  An update?  Feels like forever.  Well, actually, life's been eating at my time lately (it thinks my time is rather delicious, to be sure) and so this took a while.  I'll need to do multiple-page updates for some time to catch up.  Now, I doubt I'll do as much detail as on that first page for the rest of the issue–that's part of the reason I took so long!  I had to find references and then get myself in the frame of mind to do it.  Plus, inking's a pain and blots out a lot of the detail, anyways.
 
Anyways, about the page: interestingly, this is all related to each other.  Also, that villain is someone I've already shown in the comic.  If you've read the whole comic, you may know who he is when I say that (but only then–he wasn't in costume then, and my art style has evolved since then).
 
Also, Astral seems to be sporting a new look.  In efforts to be more accurate, I've moved to using a reference for Astral (well, the astral form–the physical body would be a bit harder to find a reference for).  Something went wrong in the inking, though, and the chin looks off.  Otherwise, I personally like the change.  What's more: since the reference is a fitness model, I can actually draw more realistic muscles!  Yay!  He looks more like a human being!
