Pages 5 and 6: issue 20 - Matilda Mother

Catching up with this double-pager, and it actually looks better like this to me.  This one was easy to draw, which was a bit intentional, but in a no less effective page (to me, at least).  You still get all the argument, but the dialog doesn't need visuals for it, really.  Granted, you can't see exactly who's talking and when, but inference helps a lot.  Only one time is it unclear who's talking, but take that as the Swimmer, since she's had so little input into this argument.

Now, writing all the bile that Mr. Weston is spewing wasn't the most fun, but it was also quite easy, sadly.  You see this sort of talk in the media a lot, and it's just sad.  Also, I want to say that while my own dad isn't supportive of my transition, he is nowhere near the level of Mr. Weston.  However, there is possibly a projection of my fear I once had as far as how he would react.

Also, the big questions from here are who the villain is, who they're working for, who do they want, and why?  Of course the answers are forthcoming.  The "who does the villain want" will be answered next page, I'd figure.
