I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has done a crossover with Karen, even if you only appeared as a shadow or a bit of claw sticking out from under some rubble. You aggreed to a crossover, and I got the chance to draw you. Thank you for helping Karen the Marilith reach several milestones of her very own! 100 pages, 7 crossovers, 1 year, and still going strong with the soon to be re-appearance of an old friend and a visit to a new one, as well as the nagging feeling that I've forgotten something important…
So, I would like to thank the following authors, in order of their character's appearance in Karen the Marilith:
First to appear was, of course, Hero and his comicDial H for Hero. The man with the broadcast who got the ball rolling for so many of us.
Next was a brief interlude with Willowanderer while heading for Hero's place, and then a longer crossover in the park. Her comic crossover took place in The Space Between. She also gave Karen her wonderful toy, the weapon that can be anything, and Karen's happy happy fun fun Chibi-Willow! Heheh…
Mutation was the next crossover Karen had, though it was very small. All you ever really got to see was Mutations shadow once, and her claw tips sticking out from under a pile of rubble, but she still aggreed to a crossover, so I list her here. Her original comic where Karen was going to fight her got deleted, but Mutations current animated story is Claw Dance Revisited.
Lets see, next came the not quite so brief encounter with LIZARD B1TE and his Five Gods, wherein Karen gets attacked and he jumps through a window…
Our next crossover was with the long missing but recently returned to us dmc87, and her character Shraye from Rainbow Colored Socks. (Poke the penguin, she dares you to!)
We then finally caught up with Mystery who had reached the crossover long before I did. I am sorry it took me so long to throw that knife at you, I hope you can forgive me… heheh… I guess I just wasn't keeping up with my Rights and Responsibilities like you were.
And lastly so far, we have the double crossover efforts of Sominous and his friend (and ours) JustNoPoint. This was perhaps the longest running crossover (tied perhaps with the constant re-appearances of Willowanderer), Convenient Hell and that is his side of the story.
(I hope I did all those url thingies right…)
And so, I leave off my rambling with a very special thank you to all and sundry who have crossovered, co-written, read, stared at blankly, or otherwise aided in getting Karen to both her 100th page, and her 1 year anniversary.
