Oh man is my page late today! I'm sorry. The only excuse I have is that my boss just finally left the office so I could sneek in here and scan my page. Normally he leaves around 2 or I can get in while he's at lunch at noon, but today was just a very hecktic kinda day for him. (We're getting a new simulator and one of the old ones is being overhauled, so lots of work folks in who arn't normally in.)
So, we have the momentary return of Shraye and I've caught up to the Robot. Time for another fight scene, this time done entirely by me, for me, with no collaborations or guest scripts. I hope you enjoy it.
On the 'recomended' list over there —–> is a link to the Civil War main comic. It updates sporadically, but it does a good job of explaining why everyone is fighting. Several of the others also do a decent job (better then mine anyway) of explaining what's going on.
Karen doesn't do alot of explaining, because she herself doesn't know alot of the details, just that there is a war because someone is trying to make new (stupid) rules and she generally opposes rules of any kind whenever possible. Naturally she has decided to join the side that is in rebelion, and she is gathering friends and allies to that effect.
Hope that helps make a little sense of Karen's storyline so far, it's just her going around meeting new people and helping them so that they will want to help oppose the rules.
Anyway, thank you for reading Karen the Marilith, and please feel free to leave comments in the section below.
(BTW: Did you all notice the wonderful coloring and general beautifying Waxengoddess did on the top banner for me? She colored them in reverse of what I thought she was gonna, so the one up now is the one she didn't like as much. The banner she prefered she is still working on, so when she finishes it, I'll switch them back and forth a few times so you can decide for yourself which is better.)
