This is the last of the androids i have drawn so far. She is from the newer expansion added to the adventure when it was updated to 5th edition D&D. (The new material adds more encounters to the regular levels and adds another level to the ship (Level VII: Biological Manufacturing and Colonization Storage Holds). It also adds new alternate beginnings, additional background information and expanded ship environs for leading up to the ship, and an alternate ending if the group does not want to play with the original 4-day maximum time frame it had. I like a lot of the expanded encounters and additional information provided in the new iteration.
Here is 54m4nth4 from Level VI area 13, the Trapped Android. She is not actually part of the 'crew' androids as she was privately owned by one of the passengers as a bodyguard unit, so her color scheme is slightly different from the regular androids (first clue that she is different), so she is not malfunctioning in any way, just trapped and in need of rescue. She also isn't labeled with her name like the 'crew' androids (second clue that she is different) but that is something the PCs might or might not notice.
She comes well equipped with defenses and combat capabilities and is designed to defend. I feel it is set up specifically to introduce androids as a potential future PC character race and would serve as an excellent introduction of such into the game world. That's at least my take on her and that's how I'm going to use her. Not program bound like the rest, much more self reliant and self conscious, and can be used to 'uplift' the other androids from simple program followers to true individuals.
