My street just experienced a power outage just after 10:00 PM, my first reaction was, "Oh no!! I can't check tonight's DD updates!"
I am a slave for technology.

Luckily, I was not worried when none of the lights turned on because I purchased 250 tea lights last year JUST in case of an emergency came along. Being prepared gives me a reason to buy in bulk.

I spent an hour drawing by candlelight in my sketch book on the floor of my apartment. Good stuff.
