KD's back to story arcs!
*I'm constantly thinking about the script for this strip but right now I'm having fun with the story.

It was my friend's birthday today. All the original college friends were back to celebrate and it was as if none of them graduated. We went to a lounge where I just ordered a water. I don't like drinking in bars because I feel like I lose more of the moment that way. The dance floor was pretty large (which made me happy) and they refrained from playing any rap or hip hop music (which made me happier).

We ended the night by going to Santa Monica Beach so we could watch the meteor shower from 12:00-2:00 AM when the peak time was supposed to occur. I had a hard time trying to figure out which flashes of lights were meteors or just planes flying into LAX. It was a beautiful way to end the night.

Oh, but did I forget to mention? The bright lights from the Pier and the rest of the city washed out the sky so it wasn't as clear as I had hoped.
