I was seventeen years old when I first saw Nude Descending a Staircase, No. 2. It was four o'clock in the morning when I accidentally flipped to a page in my art history textbook and it was that moment that I knew I wanted to study art history for undergrad.

This is my all-time favorite piece and a digital replication barely does it justice. Duchamp's Nude was one of his pieces from his short lived painting career before he spent the rest of his life playing chess.
