[315] He Really is Just Talking About His Private Key

A little note to anyone who reads this comic-

A while back when I first started drawing KD, I always made a point to update before the official update time. For the most part I was successful for a majority of the months. But after a while I started looking at the pages of my archives and I began to wonder, what would happen if I spent just a little more time on each page? I mean, in a few months I'm not going to remember if I was able to finish my page before or a few minutes after the update time. The one thing that will still exist as proof would be the page itself.

So might miss updates by a few minutes, maybe hours.

After I graduated, I found myself with an abundance of free time. My daily allotted two hours per strip suddenly turned into twenty-four hours. I am overly critical of my own work, but even with my own criticisms, I began to see improvements in my pages; I began to really like what I was producing.

So if you're going to read anything from this entry, please read this:

I care about this comic, and I want to update pages to the best of my ability. I would much rather spend a whole day brainstorming and working on a new page than post a shoddy drawing just to make it seem like I updated. I want to create a decent work that reflects my art and writing abilities otherwise I'd only be cheating myself.

I'm so grateful for those of you who read this comic. It really pushes me that much further to improve.
