Fine Art Sunday (On a Monday)
This is based off of:
Sevilla- Fiestas de Primavera Feria 1933, Estela

I seem to have undershot the amount of time it was going to take for me to complete this page because it turned out to be more detailed than any of the other pages I have ever done. I can honestly say that I have been working on this single drawing for the last two nights that I was not updating.

I saw the original print for Estela's Sevilla on a postcard when I went to Seville, Spain, last weekend. After taking my Dada class, I am very interested in the types of art chosen to be on postcards for mass distribution. The piece had this Art Nouveau quality to it and I am such a big fan of Alphonse Maria Mucha that I knew I had to try out this style eventually.

Again, I apologize about the delay… but, you know, Sally can wait, she knows it's too late, and she's walking on by.

Oh! As an added bonus, I decided to revamp my old blog (link below) and turn it into a sketch blog. I decided it would serve as a much needed drawing outlet since the recent updates have been getting more complex. I just need a space for raw sketches, concept art, fun and drawings that might not be related to this comic.
