[337] Easter 2008 Special

Hoppy Easter!

I always wanted Leona to wear those really cute Pita Ten (by CLAMP) style rabbit hair accessories and incorporate a chocolate rabbit (in the style of kozyndan) into one of my updates. I felt that the Easter special was the perfect place to accommodate these two features. I even used a new coloring technique for this page. It reminds me a little bit of watercolor or Copic markers.

It should be no surprise to anyone that Easter is my favorite holiday. Putting the whole Lenten fast and Passion aside, this is the time where shops display rabbits everywhere! I feel so warm inside when I see anything related to bunnies.

I have been busy putting Easter baskets together and filling more Easter eggs than I can count!

Now back to business…

My ideal update schedule for this comic would consist of full-color, consecutive pages Monday-Friday. This would give me the weekends to relax and begin on the following week's comics. I had the next strip ready for a Saturday update but then decided that it would be better if I waited until Monday for it to go live.

I hate the thought of restricting myself to five updates per week. I mean, by the end of one month, I would have only updated two-thirds of the time. I would also hate to include a page of filler after every five day update (that would bug the hell out of me if I was a reader).

I just have to be realistic here, it would be difficult go back to a seven day update with my current style.

Anyway, I'll try to stick to a Monday-Friday update schedule for this week just to see how it works out. This will give me less time to slack off if I know people are expecting an update when I tell them instead of having to guess when a new page will go live.
