It should not come as a surprise that music is a huge part of my life since I categorize each stage of growth with a particular soundtrack.

During my formative college years, I discovered The Big Friendly Corporation and purchased their entire CD from mperia.com. I lost their entire album after reformatting my iPod two years later and had no way to track the band down since mperia officially shut down in 2007. That is, until I found them again a few weeks ago.

One thing I loved about their original album was that it was extremely raw. Their new tracks are a bit more refined with back up guitars and better, even sound quality. Anyway, I was listening to their song "200 Dollar Tennis Shoes" and quickly fell in love.

I feel like the same hopeful college freshman with the big dorky headphones that I was four years ago.

Change is inevitable, but sometimes a feeling from a particular moment in time will continue to exist forever.
