While all the other fathers were buying their daughters My Little Ponies – or whatever was popular – mine was taking me to the local shooting range teaching me how to use a gun. I personally prefer a .22 caliber pistol over a 0.9mm Glock because I like the control. Of course what this means for me in the present is that I have developed a liking (read: healthy level of infatuation) for firearms because I've associated them with fond memories of childhood. Do I enjoy shooting? Yes.

In other news, I finally watched The Darjeeling Limited and I think I am in love with Wes Anderson's directing style. It's quirky, eccentric and has this underlying respect for familial relationships.
