Telion's private study in the tower is where he goes to get away from the pressure and politics downstairs. Also to mope, which he does quite well. Max has ruled in Telion's name for years, which both of them are more than aware of… although for the present Max is willing to let Telion stay king. As long as he doesn't cause too much trouble.
