Okay, so now we're getting to some real questions! These are all things that have been asked by various readers, some were taken word-per-word, others were worded differently because many people asked the same question but in different ways…

Here's some extended, uh, authors comments I guess, on these questions…

Why is he Japanese? This comes up so much… I kind of expected it to come up at one point, but not for it to become such a big issue, lol. It was even questioned in the Drunk Duck Podcast! I think it's a combination of expecting a story with a Japanese main character written by an American to be inherently bad because the author is not Japanese and the misconception that all Americans are white, blonde, and English.

When I created Koji years ago (he's been kicking around since 2005) I had the idea of a shonen hero in mind, where as Tadhg and some of the other male characters you're going to meet were inspired by American cartoons. Koji not being Japanese and having that archetype feels kind of fake to me, since it's a Japanese archetype in the first place!

-Every Scott Pilgrim Comment?- I'm just going to put this out there; I've only read the first Volume of Scott Pilgrim. From what I know of the series I can kind of understand some similarities in how the characters interact with each other, but nothing in Koji Takahashi Stops the World has been a direct Scott Pilgrim reference. Except that one panel there, lol.

I can understand confusion with the title though, haha. I didn't realize how close that was to "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World" right away.

Impure Thoughts About Tadhg? I have learned that Tadhg has a lusty fan base.

EGGY VOMIT LOL Devlin A. Owens: Professional Vomit Inspector. Or she would be if anyone actually paid her to inspect it. She rates vomit like wine.

SEE YOU MONDAY FOR THE THIRD AND FINAL PART~! : D
