Koji and Devlin try to find ways to talk to God.
I love how many connotations that statement has.

Koji's broken out the track jacket, so you KNOW he means business. They went to Devlin's locker first, so she's got her coat and her bat. The bat has a name, but it changes a lot. 
I took the ref photo for the church myself. The church my mom went to as a kid is really beautiful. : )
