Ch.1 P.2 - Sigh...

Sorry, this isn't a REAL update, just… a fix. I could not for the life of me get this page to re-upload, so here it is in all it's 800-pixel-wide glory.

A-ha! Finally, the finishing of the sentence from page 1.
Terribly sorry for the humongoruous page, here, but I said I'd post a new page up on Fridays, and so I have. A smaller version should be up… sometime next week.

This also marks the first page I inked (but not pencilled) after reading Johnny the Homicidal Maniac, so I took on some of that inking style here - the spooooky wall shading, and the complete axing of hatching as shading on the characters. And lots more black. I ink the pages with pen & ink, and do the big areas with a brush. Then, I reduced it on the copier and scanned it, on text settings for both. So it's quite… jaggedy and stark. That's pretty much what I'm going for, though I don't want the detail to be lost…

It's fairly clear where they're at, right?
