So I was away for a while.

Only two MS Paint submissions this time.

I'm on a roll.

Sorry I was absent, though I doubt you really cared.

Saw three movies recently:

Bio-Zombie

A cheesy Hong kong zombie comedy set in a mall. Woody and Crazy Bee are two slackers who accidentally unleash a zombie virus stored in a lucozade bottle. Soon they are trapped in a salon with two salon girls, an irritable store owner and his wife. The plot is over the top, though I found it getting strangely serious around the end (still keeping the laughs coming though). The jokes are brilliant and I was laughing at the antics all the way through. The effects were low budget but nothing more was to be expected.

I'd recommend it, deinitely.

My Name Is Bruce
Bruce Campbell's return to the genre that made him a cult favourite. Bruce plays a sleazy version of himself who is mistaken by fans to be a hero who can save them from a Supernatural Chinese Warrior named Guan Di. Bruce just thinks it's a movie pitch. This movie is hilarious and stars Bruce Campbell. Need I say more?

Scanners
Another David Cronenberg body horror such as the Fly or Videodrome. A homeless man is caught staring at a woman who is having a fit. He is captured and revealed to be a Scanner, a mind reader with psychic powers. He is recruited to track down the first ever Scanner, who has formed an underground organisation to use Scanners to his own goals. Typical of Cronenberg: excellent plot, writing, pacing and cinematography. Special mention to the special effects. Especially the infamous exploding head, testament to the fact that practical effects and puppetry will always be fucktons better than CQI.

As always, I recommend anything by David Cronenberg.
