Oh hi.

I like this comic.

I really do.

Now then:

Back to those reviews I've been doing.

ERASERHEAD

Eraserhead is a 1977 surrealist horror film directed by David Lynch. It follows the life of Henry Spencer, a young man with a bizarre haircut that is on vacation from the factory in which he works. Henry's world is a dirty slum dominated by machinery and grey industry. He lives in a one bedroom apartment across from his seductive neighbour, and has a girlfriend named Mary X that soon informs him that she has given birth to his child. Mary comes to live with Henry and they take care of the strange creature that she has somehow given birth to. Include a singing woman that lives behind a radiator and a number of bizarre experiences and you get the ultimate cult classic. This film is hard to describe, the film has a slow, dreamlike pace throughout and I found it hard to know where to cut off the synopsis. This film is brilliant, horrifying and unlike anything you'll ever see. The film has a message, but Mr Lynch refuses to reveal it and people have been guessing for 30 years. If you don't mind have your mind brutally toyed with like a dradle, see this film. This film also deserves a special note for the special effects. It was David Lynch's first film, made over 5 years for budget constraints and yet it has some of the most real and terrifying "things" I've ever seen in cinema. That fucking baby…

See this film.

I was interviewed by Hyena Hell recently, should be up Thursday.
