Friendships between the Rowelians and Gurthangians are very rare. Their personalities clash on so many points its nearly impossible for them to get along for a long time without breaking out into a fight.

In Lamora once one race has opposed another they usually sour relations with others as well. the Hanoahins and Rowelians are very close and friendly with one another. So if the Gurthangians did something to hurt the Rowelians they would make the Hanoahins their enimies as well.
