Perhaps the single question I get asked the most often (other than 'Why did you make Lancaster look like Rayman?!') is 'what animal is Lancaster?'

And you know, I never gave it much thought. When I originally created the character, waaaay back in middle school, he was a bandicoot. Throughout the years as I kept developing the character and its design, it obviously didn't end up looking like any real sort of animal. As it simply isn't important to the story, I never tried making him look anything other than what I wanted him to be.

A friend of mine pointed out that he looked like a sunfish. He was extremely insistent on it, too. I found it best not to argue the point ;)
