One of the things I had the most fun with working on this story was coming up with Lancaster's ghost tech. In pretty much every other "ghost hunter" universe, a lot of specialized equipment is used and requires a lot of expensive parts and stuff. I decided to go the opposite route and make ghost tech relatively cheap, something that you assemble from spare shops and a basketful of part you can get at a junk shop or hardware store.

I've always been impressed with people who could take something like a radio or computer or remote control and mod it to do other things, and this is kind of an extension of that. Maybe someday I could learn how to turn an NES controller into a portable MP3 player…
