If you came over from my original host SpiderSpawn, this is old news to you. If not, surprise! You caught Lancaster before it closes down for good. I hope the image above helps answer any questions you might have about what will happen with regards to the comic.

Episode 9 is already in full production at the moment, and it will run simultaneously on both DrunkDuck and SpiderSpawn, so if you've been catching it here, you won't need to move your bookmarks around; the comic's getting updated at the same time on both sites.

The episode will be pretty big too, so saying 'Episode 9 is the end of the series' right now is like saying the Great Wall of China was a minor hindrance to the Huns.

The episode will debut both here and on SS at the same time, so don't bother messing with your bookmarks none. There won't be a half-month dry spell here either, I still have plenty of materail to post. The second part of A Lifetime Of Regrets, our Illeana sidestory, as well as some other goodies.

And if you're wondering about that Northcod Residential thing mentioned above… Back when Episode 8 was still being drawn, I asked the readers of Lancaster to create their own Northcod Resident for insertion into Episode 9.

Sadly, it's kind of late for anyone to get in now, but you can still participate in the festivities! When Episode 9 starts up, keep track of which characters show up and when, and you can probably get a shot at winning a Lancaster prize pack including, but most definitely not limited to every issue of Furrlough that Lancaster has appeared in from Radio Comix, some original art, and whatever else I can find to toss in.

At any rate, Episode 8 is over, and Episode 9 is on the way soon. I'm really happy that so many people have been reading and enjoying the comic. It makes me want to work extra hard to give you guys a satisfying ending. Oh yeah… I want to make doubly sure that the ending is satisfying, so I'm making it a point to untie every loose end in the story. Every single one. That's the best part about final episodes though, right? You finally get to learn everything!
