I have actually screamed this at someone. A couple nights ago I was accused of copping out on an over-break assignment because I created a urban/pop styled piece using cartoons instead of attempting to create a high art type abstract piece or something like that.

It's always been my theory that to create a better piece I should look at what everyone else is doing and run way the hell in the complete opposite direction. When I was told I was copping out by doing "cartoons" and my work was laughable I screamed the exact line of this comic. What followed was one of those moments when it seems like every sound on earth has stopped and a huge awkward silence just follows for several seconds.

I love those moments.
