I was actually going to put up something else instead of this one but I did something stupid and tested a brush on the finished comic while working on something else. Rather than just do the easy thing ( Why would I do it any other way? ) and erase what I put there I decided to go through the effort of changing the joke entirely. Somehow this one seems even funnier than what I had originally intended. I suppose it's just another example of some of the happy mistakes that happen in art.

In other news, I've just realized this is my 35th update in just over a month since I began Last words. I think this is the longest I've ever focused on one single project in my life. If my drawing professor could see; she'd be ecstatic. Heck, if only I could conquer ADD I'd be able to rule the world. My first rule would be free cookies to all; seconds to the poor and me. Not very evil dictator sounding, but hey; I like cookies. I can live with being soft if there's cookies involved.

It's time to cut myself off from the Mountain Dew.
