Getting to know your characters - part 2

Continuing on in the vein of Loc's baby photo. I plan on doing one of these for each character heavily involved in Last words at some point in their life, over the course of the comic's run ( I don't know how long that will be, but rest assured I'll try to make it last. ).

I think this is one of the rare cases where the extra text of a character saying something is really effective. Normally I tend to stray away from too much talking because it feels unnatural to me, but in this case it seems to work for me.

I actually was doing this earlier today and there were no small children involved ( Unless you count my inner child whom is about 4 years old.). Being an art student has it's advantages. Sitting on the floor with a box of crayons qualifies as experimentation with new media ( If using a colouring book classifies as experimentation. ). It also means I can get away with doing odd things like throwing paint covered brushes across a room or plain flat out rolling in the paint ( I have yet to do this one, but I plan on it soon. ). There are just so many fun things to do that if I were anyone else would likely be viewed as crazy or strange, but simply because I am an art student it almost becomes expected. That being said, I obviously love doing this stuff and these are the comics that remind me why.
