I'm sure we've all had one of those sorts of dates at least once in our lives where we realized the person we liked wasn't quite as likable to us as we thought and we spent a while trying to come up with some excuse before either saying something dumb or giving up on it ( I always go for the saying something dumb route myself. ).

I personally would be quite flattered ( And slightly disturbed. ) to know somebody went through all the effort of getting me a shrunken head. Although I wouldn't ask where they'd gotten it. The origins of some things are like the price on a Christmas gift: you're just not supposed to know. Though I can't imagine that they're something that you can just wander on down to the local grocers and pick up a dozen of them ( Or maybe you could depending on where you live. ).

I also just recently picked up Fashion Nugget by Cake just for kicks and giggles, and I honestly have to say that if you haven't heard them you really should check them out. They rate as one of the more enjoyable bands I've listened to in quite a while. They have an amazing poppy funk sound that just gets you bobbing your head with the music right away and I can't help but keep listening to it over and over.
