A quick suggestion for folks looking to get better at drawing people. Check out Pose Maniacs. It's a pretty helpful resource since you can change the angle you're viewing your subject from. That's my helpful suggestion for artists of the day.

The phrase in this one is the exact sort of thing I'd tell someone who just severely injured themselves. I have a hard time turning my sense of humor off sometimes and a lot of people aren't too appreciative that you tell them to walk it off when their arm just got eaten by a paper shredder ( Some of the places I've worked the terms paper shredder and wood chipper were synonymous. ). But what else can you tell them and not be lying your ass off?

"Alright Tim! You're going to be just fine! We'll get the doc to reattach it!". "Just as soon as we pick the 25,764 pieces of it out of the wood chip pile!"

That sort of thing doesn't exactly inspire a lot of confidence. I figure, if I go the humor route, the worst that happens is they yell at me for being a jerk. A lot of doctors seem to always use the old axiom that laughter is the best medicine. Too bad the patients don't agree.
