Photography is enriching is it not?

Today was a much needed break for me after the last week or so. I got a day off work, and while I had originally intended to spend the day building up a buffer of strips, ( It's a bad habit I must confess. ) there are just some days in which you must go out and change things up a bit. So instead I grabbed my camera and went out to take some photos downtown to see if I could actually learn to take a decent photo ( It's small, but there is a downtown here. ). Along the way I found a lovely little coffee shop that I most definitely will be visiting again. Just as soon as the caffeine from this visit wears off in about another week or two. Because I get the honest impression that what they served me was not coffee at all, but rather something more akin to the equivalent of rocket fuel. I am pretty sure that some of the drunks I saw outside were not in fact actual drunks but rather regulars of this particular shop who were simply unable to open the door because of the caffeine withdrawal induced palsy. These people seemed like they were almost ready to drop to the ground, start praising my name, and blessing my camera when I help open the door for a couple of them to get in. Among all the people in the world, I believe only cocaine addicts would move more quickly to get their fix than these people did. Although, I can't say that the experience was all bad, as afterwards I managed to shoot through 4 rolls of film in an hour. By my standards that one cup of coffee alone quadrupled my productivity. That alone makes the inevitable crash and subsequent heart failure leading to my death, worth it.

Here's to hoping the prints might sell like crazy or something. Because those drinks cost more than cocaine.
